Throughout the book, the use of personification is consistently used to enhance the story. How does the personification Zusak use enhance the story? Is there parts of the novel in which personification or other figurative language dull it, or make it harder to understand? Why do you think that Zusak icludes so much figuarative languahe in his writing?
